Position Title: Maintenance Technician 2 Shift
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Location: Neosho, MO
Job Duties:
- Maintain and perform PM on all equipment within the facility
- Maintain and perform PM on all building and grounds areas, including office areas, building structures, production areas, dock areas, HVAC and outside grounds
- Maintain and perform PM on all Security Systems, Sprinkler Systems, and Alarm Systems as required
- Must comply with all OSHA, EPA, and MSDS Standards
- Maintain and perform PM on all electrical systems within the facility
- Required to perform all phases of the job in a safe manner and follow all established safety and housekeeping rules and procedures
- Maintain and perform PM on all vehicles, including forklifts, trucks, scissor lifts, and snorkel lifts
- Required to meet all general maintenance standards and meet all maintenance codes
- Minimum of 3 years training or experience in warehouse and facility maintenance
- High school education or GED required
- Willing to take vocational training for credit in facility maintenance, mechanical and electrical maintenance as determined by Facility Manager through Newell Brands tuition assistance program.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, equipment maintenance manuals, and regulatory codes
- Will be required to walk or stand for extended time periods, have good hand, wrist and arm flexibility, and work in either hot or cold environments
- Ability to communicate, read, write and comprehend both oral and written instruction
- Must have basic computer skills
