Job Description:
- Answers questions regarding regulations, policies and procedures for the medical marijuana program (MMP).
- Provides detailed direction to perspective patients, active patients, physicians, and general inquiries over the phone and through medical marijuana program email
- Respond to emails that are forwarded to MMP from the Department Of Health "contact us" web page link
- Review and approve applications for patients, caregivers, health care practitioners, and renewals.
- Generate a weekly report on all active physicians with MMP that validates license status with the Board of Medical Examiners.
- Inactivate the account of any health care practitioner who's license is invalid.
- Maintains essential records of all requests from physicians to inactivate a patient, all criminal background investigations for both caregivers and employees, and all approved minor patients.
- Contacts minor via email to notify them they will be receiving a new identification card reflecting their adult status with the program.
- Prepares correspondence to the patient in response to a request to release records and mail correspondence to the patient via certified mail.
- Maintains record of the signed release from the patient.
Experience Required:
- Customer Service Call Center experience
- Microsoft Office Suite
Work Hours:
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Lunch-1 hour between 12pm and 2pm unpaid
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.75 per hour
