Clinical Manager:
Primary Purpose:
Under the direction of the New Living Healthcare Services Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager will manage the clinical operations, providing clinical consultation and guidance to the clinical team that will include, Community Support Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Graduate Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and Certified Addiction Counselors. Provide structured supervision sessions, and guide the team into providing clinically sound services.
The Clinical Manager will meet with the clinical staff weekly by reviewing treatment plans and daily encounter note documentation to ensure that they meet the standards of quality required by the DC Department of Behavioral Health. This process will include managing the intake and admission of program participants, maintaining the program's census and participant discharges.
The New Living Clinical Manager should expect to:
- Follow New Living policies and procedures to ensure quality care
- Work on-site at least four days out of every week, Monday through Friday
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (“PHI”) relating to consumers
- Review and approve appointment notes entered by Community Support Workers
- Provide psycho-therapy, maintaining a caseload with a minimum of 10 consumers
- Produce a minimum of 35 hours of service per week
- Administer Diagnostic Assessments daily or whenever assigned
- Complete all clinical notes within 24-48hrs
- Initiate referrals to external and internal community resources as needed
- Make appropriate recommendations to the medical staff as determined from sessions
- Complete treatment plans for consumers as needed
- Complete DLA- 20, Crisis Plan and GAIN forms for consumers as needed
- Initiate appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources
- Work with consumer and/or family during crises to de-escalate situations, make crisis plans and collaborate with clinical team for appropriate referrals
- Complete and submit all clinical documentation within 48 hours of the session
- Attend weekly supervision with Clinical Director
- Complete all work, including documenting interactions using Council on Accreditation (COA) and Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) policies and procedures as well as other applicable federal, state or local regulatory requirements, in adherence to the standards of New Living Health Services, LLC
- All duties must be conducted in compliance with the Council on Accreditation (COA) and District of Columbia's Mental Health Standards as well as regulations of New Living Health Services, LLC and all applicable Federal, State and local laws
- Attend all required external/internal trainings and meetings as required
Salary : $85,000
