What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Human Resources Clerk/Receptionist position at Newly Weds Foods?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Clerk/Receptionist will be responsible for clerical assistance to the Human Resources department and compiles and maintains employment records and handles basic data entry as well as assist HR Manager with recruiting, testing, and daily filing.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for answering the main switchboard
- Sort, distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Provide administrative assistance to human resources and other departments as required.
- Greet visitors maintains visitor logbook and notifies the appropriate company personnel of visitor(s) arrival.
- Maintain a professional appearance of the lobby area.
- Prepare courier air bills, coordinates shipments and verifies billing.
- Maintain production and office bulletin boards.
- Support employment process by creating new employee files, coordinate badges and collecting paperwork.
- Monitor, order, and maintain office supplies.
- Track and maintain employee time cards and consolidate necessary information for payroll.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, copying and faxing.
- Maintain and track all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) logs and I-9s
- Maintain and update the Payroll/Human Resources database.
- Process new hires and terminated employees.
- Process annual insurance rate changes, salary adjustments, and bi monthly payroll.
- Process all changes/updates to employees’ records as submitted.
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bilingual Spanish-English is a must.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years' experience.
- Strong communication, analytical abilities, organization and computer skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe applications and Lotus notes.
- Lotus Notes preferred.
