APP-Express Care/Occ Health-PRN

Come see why we are different and apply today!   This is a PRN position 12-hour work days -Must work a minimum of four 12-hour shifts per month.  This includes one weekend shift. Hours 8:00am-8:00pm 10:00am-6:00pm weekend   Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of professional theory, discipline of practice, regulations and practices to give and evaluate patient care Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures Knowledge of drugs and their indication, contraindications, dosing, side effects and proper administration Skill in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports  Successful candidates:  Current APRN or PA License  Current CPR Certification and registration with the DEA  Minimum of one year clinical experience and expertise within an Express Care setting in the past five years   Apply online at www.newmanrh.org/careers    About Newman Regional Health: Centrally located within the city of Emporia, Newman Regional Health is a 25-bed non-profit critical access hospital owned by the people of Lyon County.
