The Newmarket Elementary School (PreK – 5) is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Principal to join a dynamic leadership team that supports Newmarket’s “Vision of a Graduate.” Interested candidates should have a strong background in curriculum development and 3 or more years of experience in the elementary school setting and meet the minimum requirements for Ed 506.08. Interested candidates should possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a deep commitment to helping all students grow and learn in a team environment. Additionally, the ability to form strong relationships with families, staff, and community members is essential in this position while maintaining and upholding school policies and expectations.

Salary Range: $88,957- $115,643 with a competitive benefits package.
The position will remain open until filled; however, a preliminary application review will begin on May 24, 2024.
The Newmarket School District is located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, with easy access to Portsmouth, the University of New Hampshire, and the Boston metropolitan area. We enjoy strong support from our community and recently completed a renovation and building addition to the elementary and junior-senior high school. The community has high expectations for achievement in academics and social development.
