Responsibilities
The Housekeeper ensures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and disinfected to company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleans all surfaces (furniture, floors, windows, etc.) and décor with appropriate method and product.
- Maintains a safe work environment (i.e., proper signage, wet floors, proper SDS labels).
- Empties trash.
- Deep cleans rooms as necessary.
- Replenishes custodial supplies and office supplies.
- Checks rooms for any damages or repairs and immediately reports safety hazards to facilities staff.
- Cleans and maintains custodial equipment (i.e., vacuums, carpet cleaners etc.).
- Assists with room preparations for any admissions and discharges.
- Launders linens as necessary.
- Ensures safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
- Responds to custodial crisis (i.e., spills, broken glass etc.).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) years’ experience with environmental services required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
