What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pick & Pack Warehouse Manager position at Newrest?
Newrest is looking for a Warehouse Manager for its Inflight Unit in the USA.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining orderliness of warehouse and optimum inventory levels necessary to cost effectively meet customer needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Inventory management (counting store, retrieval and data control of workshops);
- Data entry into various software company;
- Sending weekly inventories regarding salon / alcohol;
- Communication with CSM regarding stocks status in order to avoid breaks;
- Organize services (assembly / prep and staffing) for daily outings;
- Staff Management (Stores / equipment staff / temp workers), scheduling and allocation of duties;
- Organize preparation of equipment following companies’ plans and carry out random checks of compliance;
- You are the guarantor of storage and cleanliness of the store;
- You are the guarantor of customs procedures of your service (closed squares, filling trolleys);
- You communicate any malfunctions to the management;
- Plan inventories following specifications;
- Schedule the Planning of teams; and
- Monitor working time of teams.
Domain of intervention – General duties of the Warehouse Department:
The Warehouse Manager manages other employees performing the following task:
- Receive and check goods;
- Check product temperatures upon delivery;
- Complete traceability documents;
- Unpack and store products in various storage areas in accordance with of FIFO rules;
- Perform material outputs in accordance with good hygiene and manufacturing practices;
- Clean and organize the various storage areas;
- Pack and label any open product;
- Daily inventory control (quantity, breakage, DLC, visual product, protection product ...);
- Check temperatures of different cold chambers (positive and negative);
- Communicate to the hierarchy anomalies (BBD, ruptures, error handling ...);
- Participate in inventories;
- Perform cleaning, washing and sanitation of premises and equipment at the end of each shift; and
- Empty trash (cardboard, inedible food and other waste).
PROFILE :
- College diploma / bachelor's degree in Management, quality, technical or business related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience at supervisory level or above
- Excellent communication skills
- Business and customer service focus
- Ability to lift items / packages (up to 35 lbs. / 15 kg)
- Resistance to stressful situations
- Well organized, rigorous and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints
- Operational awareness
- Good knowledge and understanding of WINREST
- Good knowledge of HACCP & food safety standards;
- Warehouse and production experience is essential
- Ability to read in English, write in English, speak in English
