Technical Director

Exciting Opportunity!!! NPG of Idaho, Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming's #1 News organization is looking for a Full-Time Newscast Director. Responsibilities include directing live newscasts, editing video, graphic pre-production, and special projects. Candidate must be capable of directing and switching fast-paced, multi-camera, co-anchored newscasts.

The successful candidate will gain valuable skills using some of the most advanced equipment in the industry, and will work with a Ross Carbonite digital switcher, Adobe Premier non-linear editors and playback, ENG live trucks, LiveU, Ross Inception news system, Panasonic robotic studio cameras, Ross Expression CG, and more.   Candidate will also be working in a team environment with producers and anchors to create informative, educational, and entertaining news casts.

A degree in television production or prior live news production experience is preferred, as well as outstanding verbal communication and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations.
