Newsweek is looking to fill an Operations Associate position within the rankings department. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations. The Operations Associate, reporting to the Director of Operations, will assist in shepherding each ranking from start to finish, which may include, but not limited to the publication of a survey page, the coordination of the online rankings page, prepping data files and providing support to the print magazine team. Additionally, the Operations Associate will assist with the ongoing data revision process, as well as additional projects that the team will be managing.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven Work Experience:
- Previous work experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar role.
- Excellent Communication and Listening Skills:
- Effective communication is essential for coordinating tasks across different departments.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure:
- Operations Associates often handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong Computer Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, Microsoft Office
- Experience with Inventory Management:
- Knowledge of inventory tracking systems is beneficial, but not necessary.
- Ability to work Eastern Standard Time business hours preferred
