Quality Assurance Specialist
Next Care Hospice is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to join our team!
We are a fast growing hospice agency with most of our census across Orange County. We strive to deliver highest quality of care for our patients while keeping our staff happy as they care for our patients on a daily basis. We value good work habits and promote open communication.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for quality and timeliness of patient medical charts
- Coordinates, educates, and implements monitoring activities for safety, risk management, and infection control.
- Acts as a resource to staff in identifying safety and risk management issues for patients and staff.
- Works with nursing staff to assure documentation is complete and consistent with care and reflects legal, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring QAPI program.
Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of performance improvement, quality assessment, and utilization management.
- Knowledge of governmental and regulatory standards, requirements, and guidelines related to quality improvement.
- Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills.
Required Education & Experience:
- At least 1 year experience in Quality Assurance with Hospice experience.
- Valid LVN/LPN or RN license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
