Next Level Media Marketing is seeking qualified contractors or small business owners to provide services for clearing encumbrances on select properties adjacent to Lake Success. This contract supports the Tule River Spillway Enlargement Project to ensure it can operate as designed once construction is complete. The selected businesses must have the necessary insurance and past performance reviews for consideration.
Scope of Work:
The Performance Work Statement outlines the basic objectives of the project, offering contractors the flexibility to develop cost-effective solutions and propose innovative alternatives. The contract includes a variety of tasks, as detailed below:
Pricing Schedule and Work Elements:
Base Bid Tasks:
001 Plan Preparation: Develop all necessary plans including Accident Prevention, Quality Control, Environmental Protection, Weed Control, and Irrigation Design.
002 Layout and Site Setup: Stake work limits, setup safety fencing, staging area, and construction signs.
003 Prepare SWPPP and Install BMPs: Develop Stormwater Pollution Protection Plan and install Best Management Practices.
004 SWPPP Inspections, Sampling & Report: Conduct weekly inspections, sampling, and reporting.
005 Obtain Permits: Secure all required federal, state, and local permits.
006 Provide Access & Maintenance Roads: Grade and maintain access roads, repair erosion damage, and restore newly created roads post-construction.
007 Fence Removal: Remove 42,240 linear feet of perimeter fencing.
008 Excavation: Remove septic systems and building foundations.
009 Demo Houses: Demolish two residences and surrounding outbuildings.
010 Orchard Tree Removal and Reseeding: Remove 42 orchard trees and reseed the area with native species.
011 Demo Well Pump, Slab, Screen, and Casing: Demolish well components and place grout.
012 Haul and Disposal: Transport debris to an approved landfill.
013 Remove Stock Pond: Drain and remove the stock pond.
014 Remove Outbuildings: Clear various outbuildings and related structures.
015 Seed Disturbed Areas: Grade and seed disturbed areas with native species.
016 Monthly Activity Records: Prepare as-builts and monthly activity records.
017 Restoration and Cleanup: Maintain roads and firebreaks, remove BMPs, and perform general cleanup.
018 Annual Report #1: Document site conditions with as-builts, monthly activity records, and photo documentation.
General Information:
This contract involves removing encumbrances to account for the rise in water levels on Lake Success due to the Tule River Spillway Enlargement project. The major work elements include removing old perimeter fencing, electrical panels, stock ponds, residences, outbuildings, orchards, wells, and performing maintenance and cleanup tasks.
