Provide the individual with protection from abuse and neglect, assess and address the health and safety concerns of the individuals within the residence, train individuals in emergency evacuation procedures and complete necessary documentation, prepare nutritional meals for nourishment needs, assist in individual health care needs, respond to unusual incidents in accordance to regulations/policies, and maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the home.

Keep all information related to the company, employees, and or the individuals completely CONFIDENTIAL. This is due to HIPPA regulations. To not post any derogatory information about NSC or other employees on social media. To not engage in private chatrooms with information about NSC. Encourage individuals to exercise their personal rights, enhance the individuals' decision-making skills while setting aside personal bias, teach the proper use of client funds, and document items purchased and retain receipts for those purchases.

Promote self-confidence and self-esteem within the individuals, increase community participation by assisting on outings and socialization, and act as a positive role model. Providing quality services and supports as outlined in the individuals lndividual Support Plan (lSP) and to evaluate the individuals progress daily through documentation. Following the individual's behavior support plan (BSP). Complete Medical Administrative Training.

Properly administer and/or oversee the individual receiving medication. To properly maintain accurate documentation of the medication.

To check for ample supply of the individual's medication and alert Medical Coordinator if the supply is low or needs refilled. Check for accuracy and supply of all medication when it is delivered by the pharmacy.

Engage individuals in completing activities of daily living and encourage them to do so to the best of their abilities, enhance their capability to manage their finances, and provide personal care as needed.

Responsible for completing all required documentation including, but not limited to: daily logs, goal data sheets, calendars, medication administration records (MARS), health care charts, m en us, doctor appoi ntm ent su m ma ry forms, antecedent /behavior /conseq uence (ABC) forms as necessary, accident illness forms. ln addition, maintain a neat, accurate time sheet and submit it in a timely manner to the main office.

Provide transportation and assist the individuals on doctor's appointments, scheduled outings, shopping, etc. This includes completing van mileage logs and other documentation as required.

Perform job duties in compliance with the company's regulations with a positive attitude. To maintain a professional work environment.

Communicate with other staff, management and non-agency/ personnel in an appropriate and professional manner and maintain the highest level of dependability and reliability to include but not limited to attendance and punctuality.

Attend all training programs and or mandatory meetings and share new information with fellow staff that was unable to attend.

Perform job duties in accordance with the company's health and safety policies and report all health/safety hazards or violations of health/safety policies to the program manager immediately.

Utilize equipment, supplies, finances, etc. in a safe manner and in the best interest of the company and request equipment/supplies as needed while following protocol.

Dress appropriately. Crude, offensive, lewd or revealing clothing is unacceptable. This includes proper attire for doctor's appointments, church, etc.

Conduct other similar job assignments as deemed necessary and/or assigned. o Provide support to intellectually, behaviorally, challenged individuals. Have patience and understanding.

Perform cleaning duties and assess and address maintenance needs. o Purchase items necessary for the management of the home with petty cash funds and grocery shopping funds.

To always treat clients family, guests with respect while in their presence.
