Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee and coordinate the activities of our moving crew. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our clients. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of moving jobs from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise Crew: Oversee the daily activities of the moving crew, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Plan and Organize Moves: Coordinate logistics for each move, including planning routes, scheduling, and managing resources.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the move, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all items are packed, loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and securely, minimizing damage and loss.
- Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively address any issues or challenges that arise during the move.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all crew members follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each move, including inventory lists, schedules, and client interactions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in the moving industry or a related field is preferred, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly throughout the day.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Integrity: Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity.
