Next Steps Learning Center is currently seeking a Center Director to join our team! We are family owned and offer a competive benefits package. Applicants must have management experience as well as experience in a licensed child care facility.
The Director is responsible for the daily operations of the center. This includes:
Family Management - The position will manage all aspects of family relations. We want our Directors to develop strong family relationships to create a comfortable environment for families to address issues or make recommendations. Below are additional Family related Duties:
· Enrollment Management
· Child Files
· Transition Management
· Parent Communications
· Facility Tours
Staff Management – Our staff is the key to a successful center. The Director should develop relationships with staff to create a comfortable work environment that is relaxed, light hearted yet professional. More specific duties include:
· Staff Schedule
· Employee Selection
· Employee Files
· Employee Training
· Employee Training Logs
· Payroll
· Supporting staff in parent interactions
Facility Management – The Director has specific licensing and general management requirements:
· Classroom Rosters
· Maintaining Licensing Logs
· Curriculum Management to be reviewed and sent to Regional Director
The Director position is responsible for the daily operation of the center and ensuring that the center is running smooth according to our policies and Licensing rules and regulations. Directors will have set hours that vary from day to day averaging 40-45 hours a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
