Our client is the world’ s leading producer of quartz glassware for the semiconductor industry for use in the processing of integrated circuits. They are growing and are currently looking for Product Movers to join their team! This entry-level position will perform both manual and clerical duties related to handling and maintaining the flow of a variety materials, equipment, and supplies in manufacturing areas. - Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
- Enters transactions into computer recording product movement from step to step in ERP system.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents.
- Counts, weighs, or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and verify against documentation.
- Verifies part or process conformance to routing steps as trained.
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
- Participates in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
- Transports high technology, high dollar cost equipment, laboratory supplies, office supplies, furniture and hazardous materials; secures cargo properly and safely with weight evenly distributed.
- Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks.
- Directly involved in organizing and cleaning common work areas.
- May set up and operate light production equipment as instructed & trained.
- May wash materials using water and/or chemicals.
- Not eligible for remote work.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Entry level position.
- Some positions may require possession of current Class C or Type D driver' s license (Commercial Driver’ s License with hazardous material endorsement) upon employment.
- Some positions may require state certification in forklift operation.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
