NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a Clinical Care Specialist Lead to be part of our urgent care team.

Responsibilities
The role of the Clinical Care Specialist Lead will involve regularly leading a team of Clinic Care Specialist working in our urgent care clinics.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Team Lead position will train new clinic staff and serve as point person for job questions pertaining to the back office clinic staff duties.
Duties include daily oversight of back office staff, monitoring and tracking clinic staff performance ensuring all back office job functions are initiated and completed.
The team lead will work closely with his/her Clinic Manager to help the team maintain clinical best practices and integrity, while providing services to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, trains new staff and serves as point person for procedural questions related to a specific program and provide support to clinical staff.
Troubleshoots patient complaints, equipment failures and systematic problems stemming from the back office.
This position is required to work clinic shifts to maintain back office knowledge and skills.

Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
Employed in Arizona
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; and
- Completion of an Approved Medical Assistant Training Program; or
a. a medical assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health; or
b. a medical assisting program accredited by The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES); or
c. a medical assisting program accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education; or
d. a training program offered by a Medical Doctor that meets or exceeds the requirements of an accredited program.
3. Completion of an unapproved medical assistant training program and passage of the medical assistant examination administered by either the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Medical Technologist
The above requirements do not apply to any person who before 2/2/00:
a. Completed an unapproved medical assistant training program and was employed as a medical assistant after program completion; or
b. Was directly supervised by the same physician group, or physician assistant for a minimum of 2000 hours; or
c. Completed a United States Armed Forces medical services training program
Employed in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, Wyoming
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; and
- Completion of an Approved Medical Assistant Training Program; or
a. a medical assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health; or
b. a medical assisting program accredited by The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES); or
- a medical assisting program accredited by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education; or
- a training program offered by a Medical Doctor that meets or exceeds the requirements of an accredited program.
- Completion of an unapproved medical assistant training program and passage of the medical assistant examination administered by either the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Medical Technologists; or
- One year experience working as a medical assistant or other similar healthcare role; or
- Completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program; or
- Completion of a program comparable to a medical assisting program.
Certification (applies to all states employed):
Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council.
Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Experience: Three recent years previous back office experience in a medical office, urgent care or emergency department. Supervision of medical staff
Skills: Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills
Training: Customer Service Training

Salary : $35,200 - $44,600
