JOB PURPOSE

As a Systems Operations Coordinator at NextGen Retail Solutions, your primary responsibility is to oversee and maintain the various systems, applications, and technology platforms utilized across the organization. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of these systems, enabling seamless operations, and enhancing productivity. Your duties will involve overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of systems and applications, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and objectives. You will coordinate with operational staff and departmental teams to identify requirements, deploy solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Additionally, as a Systems Operations Coordinator, you will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements to optimize functionality. Your efforts will contribute directly to the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure, enabling our teams to work efficiently and effectively. By facilitating seamless coordination of systems and applications, you will help drive innovation, streamline processes, and ultimately contribute to the overall success of NextGen Retail Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of systems, applications, and technology platforms used across the organization.
  • Collaborate with operational staff and departmental teams to identify system requirements, deploy solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements to optimize functionality and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting system-related problems, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols, implementing measures to safeguard data integrity and protect against cybersecurity threats.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuity.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and minimize downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-starter with high level of initiative, personal accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must possess and demonstrate superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Education or relevant experience with systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, including Power Query)
  • Education or related experience with HTML, CSS, SQL.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.44 - $31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
