Accounts Payable Supervisor
What we’re looking for:
An energetic, enthusiastic Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.
What you’ll be doing:
The responsibilities of this position will vary but will be primarily focused on ensuring that the department operates smoothly, and maintains accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers, lenders, and employees. This position will also focus on optimizing department processes and building lasting relationships with others within and outside of the business. The expectation is that this person will be in-person, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM. Remote work and flexible scheduling may be available as needed.
This position is one we hold in high regard in order to provide the level of service excellence our customers expect and deserve. Specific duties to include:
- Facilitate successful and timely subcontractor onboarding and ongoing maintenance of profiles in the vendor management platform
- Manage invoice entry, approvals, and payment batch creation for subcontractors
- Manage facility payables
- Ensure successful execution of vendor payments, employee expenses and auto withdrawals
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations of prepaid and accrual accounts
- Provide support for external audit and tax, including processing all required year-end 1099 information
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external business partners, resolve issues as they arise, escalating as necessary
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and automation
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Extensive knowledge about accounting and management principles and Account Payable procedures.
- Proficient with computer, business solutions and bookkeeping software.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to customers, vendors and to those within the company.
- Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to interact with customers, co-workers and other personnel at all times.
- Commitment to integrity and Company Standards and Procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must and ability to handle confidential information.
