Position summary: The facilities maintenance manager ensures that the facility and grounds remain healthy and inspection ready at all times. The Facility Manager will ensure that CVE meets all OSHA, EPA, State and local regulatory rules, regulations, and laws. The Facility Manager will direct contractors, Team Members and vendors as needed to complete work to meet those requirements. The Facility Manager will estimate costs and develop schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications required:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of industrial facilities maintenance experience.
Ability to schedule and oversee outside contractors related to the facility.
Knowledge of Industrial and Commercial plumbing.
Knowledge of Industrial and commercial HVAC.
Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams.
Mechanical installation.
Qualifications desired:
Knowledge of industrial flooring and paint.
Indiana State wastewater certification or ability to obtain one in six months.
PSM (Ammonia) leadership experience.
OSHA compliance experience.
Industrial HVAC experience.
Experience in thermal oil a plus.
Ability to read construction documents (blueprints).
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.
