HEALTHCARE DELIVERY DRIVER
The Delivery Route Driver is responsible for safe and timely transportation and delivery of healthcare equipment prior to scheduled treatment cases, which includes loading and unloading the required equipment for each designated treatment facility. The Driver is also responsible for the professional appearance of their transport vehicles and all medical equipment they transport.

SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers all required medical equipment safely, prior to scheduled treatments to designated facilities.
- Safely loads and unloads required equipment for each site visit with a two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand and stages in designated space within the facility.
- Completes fleet and transportation training; completes continuing education and training for all driving safety and Department of Transportation requirements.
- Maintains a professional and pristine appearance standard on all equipment: performs a visual inspection and clean all equipment prior to delivery.
- Notifies site personal, scheduling and technologists regarding disposition of the equipment and when it has been delivered.
- Evaluates the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the equipment.
- Plugs in and tests equipment if procedure room is available following site protocols.
- Ensures proper radiation safety and preventative maintenance documents are up to date and available upon request.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must have a valid drivers license and meet DOT qualifications.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 80 lbs.
- Comfortable driving and working inclement weather conditions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with management, staff members, and peers.
