What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Product Marketing position at NextRoll?

RollWorks is taking the ABM space by storm, and we need a leader to continue (and increase!) the momentum. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Marketing of RollWorks, this role leads all aspects of RollWorks’ strategy across our product’s go-to-market, including research, positioning, packaging, pricing, product launches and product lifecycle management. You’ll apply your deep analytical skills to find opportunities to optimize our go to market paths and product positioning within the Martech ecosystem. With your storytelling skills, you’ll pave the narrative path to differentiation. You’ll partner with members of the RollWorks’ marketing team plus Product and Sales to turn RollWorks into the leading account-based platform.

The Impact You’ll Make:

  • Leads the RollWorks product marketing team and works with product, sales and corporate & demand marketing teams to acquire new customers, retain current customers and solidify our key position in the greater market.
  • Enables revenue teams to be successful through the creation of compelling (and killer!) customer-facing content and sales enablement materials turning our product positioning into compelling experiences like videos, web properties, microsites, slides etc.
  • Owns competitive analysis and develops internal training and materials to help sellers position and differentiate RollWorks from alternatives
  • Plans launches of new products and updated releases of existing products, leading the implementation of coordinated cross-functional high impact product launches
  • Acts as a primary leader with vision and SME for RollWorks Account-Based Platform, including speaking engagements, written works, and participating in briefings with analysts and influencers
  • Owns the packaging and pricing framework to drive adoption and positive unit and segment economics. Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance teams to define, deliver and supervise profitability of products.

Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred and 10 years of marketing experience, 5 years of demonstrated ability in product marketing
  • Strong product chops - whether through a path in product management experience or technical product marketing and a data-driven approach
  • Experience rolling out new products to a direct sales team and the interconnectedness of CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Excellent people management, team building skills, and the ability to challenge team members to uncover internal or external blockages
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and help unite others around doing the right thing for customers and long-term business objectives

Additional Information:

  • Minimum salary of $173,000 to maximum salary of $214,200 bonus or commission (if applicable) equity benefits.
  • The range provided is NextRoll’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. Consult with your Recruiter during the initial call to determine a more targeted range based on these job-related factors
