The Nextworld product management team is responsible for defining the next generation of game-changing Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) solutions. We call it ERP Redefined. The primary role of the Server and Data Management Product Owner is to define and drive the strategy and requirements for features that abstract the complexity of big data management and enterprise-grade software development to create an empowered no-code developer experience (DX) and end-user experience (UX).
The Product Owner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the solutions and will work closely with internal business users, application development teams, partners, and customers to understand and articulate requirements to define product features.
This role involves developing a clear understanding of backend, cloud, and no-code technologies and prioritizing based on the development efforts. The Product Owner will work closely with the Software Development Team and the Product Delivery Manager to plan and coordinate release cycles and product increments.
Responsibilities
- Collect and define requirements for the server and data management (database) as well as define requirements for our cloud development operational team.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert in backend technologies.
- Facilitate cross-team workshops and discussions to understand technological needs across the other functional areas.
- Maintain a product backlog and contribute to the development of a multi-year roadmap.
- Prioritize enhancements and defects in the backlog for implementation within a release cycle
- Communicate planned content for each release. Provide ongoing status updates on the progress of delivery.
- Author/review requirements in the form of user stories and related acceptance criteria.
- Provide guidance to teams to ensure alignment is maintained with the defined scope and objectives of the requirements.
- Participate in product release activities.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field; computer science preferred
- 3 years of experience in data management; preferred PostgreSQL
- 3 years of experience in & Data Mcloud development; preferred AWS
- Strong analytical skills ranging from problem identification through the proposal and implementation of a potential solution, working in conjunction with the development teams.
- Knowledge of programming concepts
- Knowledge of design patterns, procedures, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with SQL, including query building and index optimization
- Ability to drive consensus between stakeholders with competing views/requirements
- Strong ability to work on multiple initiatives and prioritize work accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
Salary : $95,000 - $140,000
