Responsibilities:
- Support and reinforce the individualized treatment plan for each youth
- Ensure that residents adhere to daily schedules and activities established for the program, including school, therapy sessions, external appointments, etc.
- Serve as a mentor and role model by demonstrating compassion and understanding for feelings, opinions, and experience of others, and communicating and interacting in a manner that is honest, positive, respectful, and professional
- Ensure resident safety and collaborate with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean, and therapeutic.
- Plan and participate in off-campus resident activities and assist in the transportation of client for home visits, doctor appointments, planned recreational activities, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required (must meet state driving criteria and pass corporate eligibility standards)
- Some related experience preferred.
Schedule/Pay:
- Full-time; on-site opportunity
- Hourly payrate offers starting at $17.80.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to assist staff in physical interventions and restraints of residents.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (2-4 hours).
- Must be able to twist, bend and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities within a residential treatment facility.
