CNC Machinist/Programmer Rate: $65k to $105k per year
We are looking for a CNC operator with strong experience in Mastercam or ESPRIT. Experience with aerospace manufacturing designs is highly preferred!
Duties and Responsibilities:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and the daily operations of the CNC machine, including daily upkeep of the machine and necessary inventories.
- Create and develop 5-axis CNC mill programs using Mastercam or ESPRIT, or other relevant cam software.
- Assist in the designing design of tooling and work holding fixtures.
- Validate CNC programs.
- Program product blueprints and design models to the computer modeling software.
- Identify and load the correct cutting tools and raw materials, as needed per design/model.
- Perform quality checks on the raw materials prior to loading.
- Adjust/program the CNC machine setting as needed.
- Perform quality checks during the manufacturing stage.
- Perform quality checks after the product is loaded out of the CNC machine.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in 5-axis CNC programming
- Strong experience with MasterCam or Espritcam is highly preferred
- Experience with other cam system are welcome
- Experience in CNC machining is preferred
- Experience in machine probing is preferred
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing is a plus!
- Effective proficiency with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong analytic and communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills, including mentoring and coaching skills, is a plus
- Able to work in Rancho Cordova, CA
