Duties and Responsibilities:
The Controller position will manage and oversee the accounting month end process, budgeting, reporting, cash forecasting, and account payables oversight. They are a business partner that can work autonomously and provide an analysis of the financial results.
- Development of system controls to ensure data integrity among key applications (including inventory and EHR platforms)
- Producing accurate and timely financial reporting package based on a comprehensive month end checklist
- Journal Entry creation and review, including payroll, revenue and intercompany transactions
- Managing the budget process – comparing monthly budgets with actual results and discussing strategies to reach objectives with office managers.
- Manage and oversee the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
- Overseeing Commission Calculations
- Overseeing Accounts Payable process
- Review and reconciliation of inventory control, with an emphasis on accurate Cost of Goods Sold representation
- Continual assessment of current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Assist in special projects as necessary
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience in public/private accounting
- Preferably with controller experience
- Healthcare accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A CPA license is highly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Must have experience with trend and financial analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and to work under tight deadlines while providing consistent and professional service.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with all co-workers and outside clients.
- Possess excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong work ethic with a flexible and positive attitude.
- Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks Online preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to work in Centennial, CO
Salary : $117,000 - $125,000
