Job Title: Bookkeeping and Auditing Clerks
Employment Type: Contract
Work Hours: 37.5 - 40 hrs./week
Work site: 100% On Site
Location: Riverview Center, 150 Broadway - Menands, NY 12204
Job Closing: 3/23/2023.
Minimum Education:
- A degree of coursework in accounting, finance, business administration, mathematics, economics, public administration or similar.
Duties & Experiance:
- Completing special assignments and other necessary administrative functions as assigned.
- Experience conducting audits.
- Experience with the review, analysis, and management of accounting systems.
- Experience with internal controls.
- Experience maintaining accounting books and records, completing financial statements.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including but not limited to, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Outstanding experience with Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office setting, conducting a wide range of fiscal tasks to support program operations.
- Experience working in a government setting.
Misc. Information:
- Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Parking facility depends on assigned location, there is free parking at one location, the other location is $10 a day.
- CDTA buses is in close proximity to this worksite location.
- Interview: A panel of two to three members will ask a series of 7 to 10 questions that will be scored.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
