Copywriter

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced copywriter that has the know-how and skills to make an impact on our team and with our clients. This role requires someone who has experience conducting interviews, developing content strategy and writing content using best SEO practices for our clients’ websites and any other digital marketing mediums. Not only knowing the english language, but proper grammar, idioms, sayings and expressions is a critical part of the role. Our clients are in a number of different verticals including but not limited to home services, healthcare, legal & other local businesses in the Greater Philadelphia area.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone that loves writing web content in a creative way that involves telling the story of the client, presenting their content and strategy to the team, developing content using best practices including branding, SEO, and UX, and enjoys working in a flexible team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content for client websites
• Generate long-form content adhering to best practices in user experience and SEO in order to generate web traffic
• Create content strategy for new client websites
• Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
• Write monthly blogs for clients
• Proofread, edit and improve existing content

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years experience creating content for marketing websites
• Previous experience presenting content and strategy to internal team and clients
• Experience with content development and collaboration, as well as content research and planning tools
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
• Ability to execute keyword/SEO strategic recommendations
• Ability to create and execute content strategies
• MUST submit portfolio or examples of written work
