Cleaner

Master Maintenance is seeking reliable Part-Time Cleaner for the Chroma Building in Detroit. If you have experience or are looking to obtain a position in the janitorial/cleaning field with a company that provides training, we would be interested in meeting you.

Position Schedule:

• Part -Time
• Monday – Friday
• 5PM - 9:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Able to follow directions and perform detailed cleaning & assigned special projects
• Ability to dust, sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean restrooms & kitchens, etc.
• Clean and disinfect equipment
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Mix various cleaning agents
• Remove garbage and recycling
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Notify management of any building issues or need for repairs
• Stock and maintain supplies
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Prior janitorial/cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Able to commute to assigned job location
• Be reliable & punctual for all scheduled shifts

Pay Range:

• $14.00 per hour
