ACTIVITY COORDINATOR - GREENVILLE, SC Full Time with Benefits
NHC HealthCare Mauldin is hiring a full time Activity Coordinator to join the healthcare team. The qualified applicant for this position should be a self motivated professional able to work with elderly patients with creativity and enthusiasm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess each individual patient to determine activity interests and needs.
Provide therapeutic activities which meet the individual interests and needs of each patient.
Provide activities which meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual needs of patients while providing an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.
Maintain all required records (see Recreation Manual).
Coordinate and maintain an active volunteer program.
Maintain good public relations with the community by contacting and informing local clubs, businesses, schools, etc. of center services and goals.
Order and maintain supplies for use in the Activity Program
other duties as directed by the Administrator
