NHC HealthCare Franklin is seeking a COTA for Full Time Recreation Director. Applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative. The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care. The Recreation Director leads the Activities team in developing and implementing a well-rounded Activities program for all patients to include evenings and weekends, celebrating holidays and big events.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and initially certified or eligible for certification by the NCBOT
- Must have Tennessee COTA ( Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ) license
- Must have reliable transportation, a positive attitude, and be a team player
- Prior SNF experience a plus
