What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Organizer position at NHDP?
Organize NH, the 2022 New Hampshire Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, is seeking highly motivated Digital Organizers to help ensure Democratic victories across the state in 2022. New Hampshire is a critical state in 2022 at all levels of the ballot - join us to reelect U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan, Reps. Annie Kuster and Chris Pappas, and regain the governorship and state legislative majorities in next year’s elections.
This position reports to the Regional Digital Organizing Director. Remote applicants will be considered.
Your role will include:
- Organize online events in your community.
- Learn how to best cultivate relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
- Be a part of robust volunteer-powered phones and texts programs.
- Learn more about digital tools and how we yield them for reaching our outreach goals.
- Experience what it’s like to work in a campaign setting.

- The ideal candidate has strong organizing skills, is tech-savvy, is knowledgeable with predictive dialer technology, such as ThruTalk/LiveVox and VPB Connect, texting tools, such as ThruText and Spoke, and has experience organizing and training large numbers of volunteers virtually.
- The ability to be scrappy when it comes to solving problems and using the resources you have already available to you.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with volunteers.
- An excitement to meet people from your community and forge meaningful relationships with them.
- A passion to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Positions will be open until filled. This is a non-exempt position and is paid an hourly base rate of $15.36 and an overtime rate of $23.04 after staff exceed 40 hours worked. Digital Organizers will start working six-day, 55-hour weeks, and hours are expected to increase closer to Election Day. This position includes a full benefits package, including a generous holiday and paid time off policy as well as health, vision, and dental insurance coverage at no monthly cost to the employee.
