Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated individual to join the Acute Services Management Teams at University Hospitals Ayr as a Site Coordinator.
Hours
37 Hours per week
What You Will Do
You will be accountable to the Acute Site Director and as part of the senior management team will provide operational leadership ensuring that high quality care is provided at all times. Working closely with other senior colleagues, you will develop new models of care in the delivery of discharge planning, capacity management and site flow.
You will be required to work in partnership with HSCP Colleagues and across both Hospital Sites with operational and clinical colleagues of all Divisional Specialties, to ensure the safe and timely discharge of patients.
You will also support and deliver system wide systems and processes in NHS Ayrshire and Arran and is essential to provide a safe and effective service for our patients.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
educated to degree level together ideally with evidence of postgraduate study to Masters Level or equivalent service experience and have an understanding of local and national health policy for this post.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of governance principles and the development of systems and frameworks to establish clear accountabilities based on effective performance management protocols.
You must have experience of successfully leading a change within an organisation, and demonstrate sound understanding of influencing and decision making protocols across all stakeholders and ability to shape stakeholder opinions.
You should have the ability to promote collaboration and team working across services, cultivating network of relationships internal and external to NHS Ayrshire and Arran
