Truck Washer

Purpose:
The Truck Washer will facilitate safely cleaning vehicles of the company as well as inspect equipment for compliance standards to facilitate safe transportation. This position is designed for entry-level individuals with the intention of training the employee to grow with the company. The Truck Washer will be in complete support of and willing adherence to NHTs mission, vision and core values and hold these standards as his/her own.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

• Scrub, wash and spray trucks, using brushes, sprayers and hand cloths.
• Apply polishes, re-conditioners, waxes to trucks.
• Inspect parts, equipment, and trucks for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards.
• Operation of trucks as necessary to perform duties.

Education & Experience:

• Valid Driver license with the capability to safely operate vehicles as needed

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
The Truck Washer may have to spend long hours standing, stretching, climbing and moving around trucks to complete washing which can cause muscle strain. The Truck Washer is largely a non-sedentary position in a shop environment. Visual acuity and being able to do some light to heavy lifting of truck parts, tools and small machinery, up to 50 lbs. The Truck Washer may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time management skills to complete the required tasks.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
