What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Dietary Aide position at Niagara Hospice?
The Part Time Dietary Aide will be responsible for performing designated food service duties.
Dietary Responsibilities:
1. Helps in collecting menus, delivering meals and snacks, removing and cleaning trays.
2. Assists the cook in food preparation as necessary.
3. Sets and cleans all rooms as necessary on a daily basis.
4. Replenishes any products and collects and removes trash as necessary.
5. Washes pots, pans, dishes and silverware according to procedures.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED
· Ability to comprehend food service and/or housekeeping operations.
· Six (6) months experience as a foodservice/housekeeping worker in a healthcare facility preferred.
