Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (NFCI) located in the heart of Niagara Falls is seeking a dedicated and reliable Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen in the Savor Restaurant, ensuring a smooth operation for our culinary students and staff. The incumbent is responsible for washing dishes, large pots, pans and cambros; cleaning the kitchen area, utensils and equipment; and cleaning floors. The incumbent is expected to lift heavy objects such as large pots, pans, and cambros on a frequent basis. The incumbent may also be assigned cleaning tasks both indoors and outdoors to include parking lots, sidewalks, hallways, and rooms as well as routine repair tasks. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs and Faculty. This position will provide a steady and consistent 40 hour work week with overtime opportunities. Effective September 1, 2024 the rate of pay will be increasing to $16.60 per hour. Shifts will be in the evening, 2:30pm -11pm on Monday, Wednesday & Fridays and 12:30pm - 9pm on Tuesday and Thursdays as well.
