ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Creates and releases work orders/production schedules for Manufacturing and purchase orders for Suppliers as required to meet inventory goals and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Monitors/reports on Manufacturing attainment to the production schedule and expedites as required -- communicates on-time delivery issues to Sales as issues arise.
• Coordinates with purchasing, production, engineering, quality and sales to achieve customer required delivery dates
• Manages change activity at the work order level and works with manufacturing to ensure timely and accurate material management/reporting practices and procedures
• Assess the impact of engineering change orders and executes changes as required.
• Assists with special projects (i.e. new product/customer ramp-up plans).
• This position involves the purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, and services in accordance with manufacturing schedules and inventory targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
• Basic knowledge of MRP, inventory management and bills of material (experience with Syteline ERP system a plus, but not required). Typically 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
• Proficient with MS Office applications – advanced knowledge of Excel required, Access experience desired, but not required.
• Organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities while meeting deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Excellent problem solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
