Opportunity for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer with iOS expertise
The Engineering Team at Nice Healthcare is growing! We love to collaborate, learn, and iterate to create awesome software for our users while finding ways to give back to the tech community. We would like you to join us in developing a performant, robust, well-integrated, well-instrumented software ecosystem that will empower our patients, clinicians, and everyone at Nice to focus on quality care.
What you'll do at Nice:
- Get in on the ground floor, owning several greenfield initiatives, starting in the mobile space and expanding into wearables, desktop, and beyond (IoT, embedded)
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, product managers, and users
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software in an agile, continuous delivery environment
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets or exceeds coding best practices, unit testing, security, scalability, and maintainability guidelines
- Mentor and learn from teammates
- Research, adopt, and advocate for new technologies
- Respond to support issues during business hours
What you’ve done before:
- 3 plus years experience developing high-quality, secure mobile applications deployed in the Apple App Store
- Have demonstrably high proficiency in at least one or more of the following programming languages/library frameworks: Swift & iOS (bonus points for SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager, Combine, and Async/Await)
- Experience with unit and integration testing, and writing modular, testable code
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Empathy, a mindful collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, and a desire to influence the software being built
