Senior Network Engineer
NICE Actimize Premier is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to take our existing SaaS product line to the
next level.
In this position, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and experience to drive continuous.
improvement of our SaaS operations including
Responsibilities:
- Providing expertise in routing / switching / firewalls
- Scale, maintain, support, and troubleshoot network in our data centers and public clouds
- Develop tools and frameworks for network automation, monitoring, and management
- Secure and audit production networks
- Engage with industry and vendor partners to drive network requirements for product needs
- Participate in capacity planning, demand forecasting, network performance analysis and tuning
- Participate in certification for security and compliance standards like PCI and SOC2
- Create documentation and help coach team members
- Assist team members with day-to-day tasks
- Participate in on-call rotation

5 years of solid hands-on experience:
Designing and implementing small to mid-size SaaS networks
Managing network security and network capacity planning
Implementing, managing and troubleshooting Internet Service Providers and WAN
Configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers (Cisco, PAN, F5, Dell)
Creating, managing and troubleshooting networking with public cloud providers (AWS)
Setting up and troubleshooting Site-to-Site IPsec and user access VPNs
Significant experience
Solving issues with routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, VPN, Remote Access, IPv6), switching (STP,
LAG), application delivery (layer 4-7 load balancing) and security (policy management, IDS/IPS)
Configuring and customizing paid and open-source applications, e.g., Nagios, MRTG, Cacti, Smokeping,
BigBrother, Netflow, syslog, Solarwinds, Splunk
Configuring and troubleshooting Authentication protocols like Tacacs , Radius, LDAP (Active Directory)
Working with configuration management and backup automation
Working with SSL
Some Experience:
Developing in house applications to solve network automation and monitoring challenges using PERL,
PHP, Linux shell scripting and MySQL
Creating and maintaining various documents required for management and audits, e.g., physical
elevations, network topology, cable plant design, IP address management, configuration management,
configuration database, change control, Sarbox and PCI controls.
Using tools like Visio for network diagrams (e.g., floorplans, elevation, layer 1, layer 2, layer 3,
communication models)
Security fundamentals, including encryption, OpenSSL, SSL Certificates, SELinux, system hardening, etc.
Working with SDN technologies
Working with IPS/IDS technologies
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
