NICE is looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for supporting systems hosted in our Private Cloud and performing system administrative functions such as patch management, trouble-shooting hardware, application and OS issues, and deploying customer environments using Windows Server and Linux in a highly secure service provider environment.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 4-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Additional requirements include:

NICE is looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for supporting systems hosted in our Private Cloud and performing system administrative functions such as patch management, trouble-shooting hardware, application and OS issues, and deploying customer environments using Windows Server and Linux in a highly secure service provider environment.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 4-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Additional requirements include:
- Familiar with ITIL Framework
- Stage and deploy Windows OS images on servers
- Experience working in a SaaS environment
- Perform routine system patching and general administration on Windows and Linux servers
- Provide Level 3 technical support for systems related issues
- Provide Level 1 technical support for security related issues
- Familiar with Systems Management software especially BigFix
- Strong server hardware and software troubleshooting skills from various vendors (i.e. Dell, Lenovo, HP, Microsoft, Redhat, etc.)
- Maintain currency with an IT asset management system
- Active Directory administration
- Soild understanding of networking concepts and fundamentals
- Develop and maintain system documentation
- Participate in a 24 x 7 on-call rotation schedule
- Ability to work flexible schedule:
- Periodic nights and/or weekends
- Ability to lift 70 pounds in the data center (Installing and maintaining equipment)
Required Skills / Experience
Strong Knowledge of the Following Technologies:
- BS/BA in computer science or information systems
- Minimum 4 years system administration experience in a Windows server environment
- Knowledge of scripting with Windows Power Shell or other current scripting languages
- Familiar with TCP/IP network fundamentals and common protocols such as FTP, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS
- Experience with various systems management, monitoring, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools
- Excellent technical problem solving skills combining hardware and software knowledge
- Ability to work with development and operations teams to achieve desired results on common projects
- Good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as a team player, willing to share knowledge and train coworkers
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
- Excellent interpersonal and strong customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to discuss/document technical information
- Certification in vendor or industry technologies, e.g. Microsoft, Linux, etc
- Ability to handle urgent interruptions with poise and professionalism
Desired Skills / Experience
Strong Knowledge of the Following:
- Organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Highly motivated individual with a sense of urgency and ownership
- Hands on experience working in a data center environment
- Virtualization Experience a plus especially VMware
- Experience working in a Security compliant environment (e.g. PCI/SOX/HiTrust/ISO)
