Nick Mayer Auto Group is looking for an Automotive Recruiter. The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to fill open positions and proactively develop staffing plans to meet immediate and future staffing demands at all levels within the company. The Recuiter is also responsible for the full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, and hiring for multiple store locations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Meet with hiring managers to proactively develop staffing plans to meet immediate and future needs at all levels of the Company.
- Develop a good working relationship with all hiring managers and work to understand their staffing needs.
- Search for passive candidates from various sources to grow our talent pipeline.
- Source candidates using a variety of tools and recruitment channels.
- Monitor leads and continually work to grow our talent pipeline.
- Perform preliminary interviews via phone, video, or in -person to screen candidates and give candidates information on our culture, the job, and the interview process.
- Monitor interviewing and hiring workflow to ensure the process is moving forward, candidates are not forgotten, jobs are filled/closed timely, and candidates leave with a positive impression, even if not selected for hire.
- Manage job posting sites and career pages on websites.
- Assist with onboarding/training and the new hire orientation process.
- Represent the company at job/career fairs (public, college, high school, niche, etc.)
- Meet with colleges and technical schools to get in front of future auto technicians.
- Develops relationships with college staff, high school staff, and students to educate them on the career path, wages, and benefits of being a NMAG employee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, marketing, communications, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in recruiting automotive technicians or skilled trades.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Firm grasp on various advertising, marking platforms, channels, and best practices, including social media.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of HR data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high quality results under timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Occasional travel may be required.
