Job Summary .SUMMARY OF ROLE The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. . Essential Functions: • Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures • Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc. • Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate • Adheres to safety policies and procedures • Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary. • Other duties and task as assigned by manager. Job Description SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure. Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers. Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, training, etc. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed. Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis. Wash accessible interior windows. Operate forklift and other PIT equipment. Perform other related duties as required. Lifting up to 75 LBS Climbing stairs, walking, squatting, kneeling. Loud noises and machinery.
