What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Door - New Bar position at Night Train - Be Better Hospitality?
What is Night Train?
NEW – Night Train is a new cocktail bar opening on The Landing in Downtown Fort Wayne in the former space of bourbon street hideaway. Night Train is not a speakeasy, or a place for twirly mustaches and old men drinking whiskey. Night Train has something for everyone, whether it be a vodka soda, negroni, or a pour of something nice. Night Train is here to take you on a ride (pun intended) from a cocktail bar to a late-night disco. Unapologetically fun while still serving a quality beverage in a friendly space with the best bar food around (food also served till 3a).
Night Train will be open 7 days a week, open from 6p-3a.
What’s the job?
We are looking for someone to run the door, check ID's, manage any waitlist, keep anyone out that shouldn't be in, and hold the door when we're at capacity.
Shifts would run roughly 7/8p-3a. Starting pay is $17 an hour with a tip out from the bar team based on sales.
Why work for us?
We know it means a lot to choose not just where you work, but who you work for. The leadership & owners at Night Train are dedicated to more than their bottom line. From benefits to culture, we have standards in all areas of work and want this job to be seen as a viable career for everyone.
