Male client in Cerritos is needing HCA caregiver (Home Care Aide) to help with personal care and would like companionship care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- HCA registration (Home Care Aid)

- Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)

- TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY

- Minimum 2* years* of Senior care experience (Caring for Family Members Counts!)

- Legally permitted to work in the US

- Reliable, dependable, compassionate and friendly

- Knowledge of memory impairment

- Licensed driver with reliable transportation preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide compassionate care to individuals
- Patience and empathy
- Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor physical and mental well-being of our clients
- Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
