MAJOR FUNCTIONS
This position will be responsible for leading, organizing, and improving work flow processes regarding shipments of service parts internationally. Must meet all deadlines in a timely manner.
Int'l Service Team:
- Responsible for managing activity / work flow related to Export shipping of service parts.
- Communicate any known deficiencies in order fulfillment to USDC Management.
- This position will be a Working Team Lead, organizing parts, shipments, and manage workflow processes.
- Organize, distribute and control the order of all service parts internationally.
- Shipping operations documentation (e.g. customer orders, order confirmation and shipping
documents.)
- Plan schedules in support of shipping orders to meet customer ship dates.
- Ensure that all the required documentation and computer entries are completed accurately in
accordance with all company policies to meet shipping schedules.
- Coordinate with other operational groups, internal and external customers, to insure accuracy of on-time shipments.
- Develop and publish order fulfillment and lead time accuracy reporting methods for the USDC.
- Maintain active involvement in cross-functional strategic or operational projects that support the
- USDC and or Global Operations strategy.
- Must be detail oriented, and accuracy to numbers is a must.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; must have five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Ability to effectively direct activities of subordinate associates, while interacting with General and Operational Managers and Directors to achieve very high levels credible communication and customer fulfillment results.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management.
- Must possess excellent personal drive with a passion for exceeding customer fulfillment levels.
- Must possess the ability to function within the basic logics of planning systems.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations creatively
