What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Down Supervisor position at Nine Energy?
OBJECTIVE
The Pump Down Supervisor is a leader on and off site. The Pump Down Supervisor is responsible for safely managing employees on location and ensuring service quality to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure safe travel, job setup, job execution, and return of all personnel and equipment
· Oversee compliance with all quality control procedures
· Require all PPE be worn while on site, have JSA’s to lead people through different aspects of the job and work with the customers to know their expectations
· Leads crew while on location through rig up, rig down, execution of the job, verify all required materials are on site
· May provide training to employees as needed
· Conduct onsite safety meetings and ensure all personnel know their positions, duties, and responsibilities and hazards on the job
· Report all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries
· Perform a 360 walk around of the pump before moving and use spotters to set equipment into place.
· Perform pre and post-trip inspections of a commercial motor vehicle
· Operate a commercial motor vehicle to and from the job site
· Clean and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including weekly inspections, checking, and filling fluids, washing equipment, and anything needed to keep your equipment running properly
· Complete all required regulatory paperwork – E-Logs, DVIR, Observation Cards and JSA’s
· Assist in rig-up and rig-down
· Assist in running equipment as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Field Supervisor
· This position supervises all Nine employees on location
EXPERIENCE
- Class A CDL (Air Brake and Tanker endorsements)
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Working knowledge of pump down operations
- Minimum of 1 year’s oil and gas pump down experience
- Working knowledge of pump down pumps, booster trailers, acid transports and any other equipment needed for a pump down operation expected
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to pass DOT Physical, Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Testing
