OBJECTIVE
The Shop Hand will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment, and general shop duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Clean, service, and refurbish tools
· Maintains, troubleshoots, tests and assembles and disassembles tools relative to services provided by location
· Work to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
· Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to load and unload jobs
· General housekeeping of the facility
· May be required to be available on a 24 hour/on-call basis to respond to customer needs
· Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
· Work in a safe manner to ensure all Nine Energy safety policies and practices are followed
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or GED required
· Minimum 1 years’ industry related experience and demonstrated mechanical aptitude
· Must have good written and oral communications
· Basic computer skills required
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format
Ability to successfully pass required drug and alcohol screening and background check
