Job Description
The metros product team works across The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Good Food, Traveller, Brisbane Times and WAtoday to create exceptional experiences for our subscribers, registered users and visitors.
In this role you will be responsible for driving and implementing the Good Food product strategy. If you are passionate about food and have a track record of successfully managing and developing digital products, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Lead Good Food product strategy with the support of Nine’s product, design and research teams
- End to end product management, from identifying the problem we need to solve, to working with tech teams to define requirements and deliver them
- Use data and research insights to identify opportunities to build exceptional product experiences across web and app
- Work with designers to manage the discovery process, identifying problems and opportunities to ensure we’re building the right thing
- Work with our technology teams through definition and delivery. Define scope and requirements to ensure we build releasable features that meet our goals
- Ensure a high level of stakeholder engagement and influence across teams to ensure product and business goals are being met
Qualifications
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
- Have at least two years' experience in a dynamic product management role where you have collaborated to develop a consumer-facing product strategy
- Have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior leadership across large scale, complex organizations
- A demonstrable ability to simplify complexity - translating audience and business pain points into requirements
- A deep understanding of product best practices and Agile methodology
- The ability to synthesize customer and developer feedback into valuable product insights and actionable next steps
