What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEO Specialist position at Ninedot?
Ninedot is looking for a SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal person for this position can explain complex SEO and data insights to clients regularly to review campaign objectives, statistics, and optimization strategies. This person must also have an eye for detail and have either in-house or agency experience where you were the lead on SEO deliverables.
This position is remote and candidate does NOT need to be U.S. based.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and track site ranking factors, keywords, internal and external links, and site content.
- Review and audit client sites to drive change that comply with best practices (including schema.org) to improve crawl ability.
- Perform SEO Audits and drive the implementation roadmap of on-page optimization
- Implement SEO tactics and ensure that sites are search-engine-friendly
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to drive more qualified traffic through a coordinated search strategy alongside our paid media team
- Monitor the performance of clients’ SEO strategies and provide recommendations for ongoing optimization
- Stay current with search engine trends to develop and improve SEO practices within the agency
- Participate in inter-team meetings to discuss and recommend strategies that influence creative direction and overall media plans
- Explain complex SEO and data insights to clients regularly to review campaign objectives, statistics, and optimization strategies
- Implement approved SEO changes to the websites and execute on yours or agency recommendations
- Develop and implement link building strategy
Responsibilities:
- At least 3 years of experience in SEO
- Have either in-house or agency experience where you were the lead on SEO deliverables,
projects and scoping. - Understanding of SEO core elements including, but not limited to, on-page and off-page tactics, optimization of site navigation, internal linking structure, URL structure, title tags, and meta descriptions
- Knowledge of the use and benefits of schema, advanced link-building tactics and content development
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics 360, and using 3rd party tools like Yoast, Majestic, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog
Job Type: Remote Part to Full-time Consultant Based on Projects Available
Pay: $15-$25/hr Depending on Experience
