Overview
The Estimator is responsible for providing financial solutions for residential remodeling projects based on the client budget. You work closely with the design team to allocate financial resources and communicate anticipated cost before the project starts. Then, support the construction team as they build the project. Your Scope and Budget are key to our success - accuracy in words and completion is critical.

Responsibilities
Excellent knowledge of construction terminology, planning, sequencing, scheduling, general methods of execution and detailing procedures for each phase of a remodeling project
Understand and communicate the upstream/downstream implications of omissions, oversights, and mistakes - experience managing details and accuracy are a fundamental to this position
Type up and deliver Scope of Work, Budget, and other supporting documentation at various points in the pre-production process, including the preliminary stage, documents produced for trade partners, lead an on-site, bid-day examination and deliver the final documentation used for the construction contract
General understanding of design basics to analyze and define scope
Marry final construction drawing set to your Scope and Budget to ensure all work is included with supplemental documentation of exclusions or options to add later

Qualifications
Residential construction estimating - 5 or more years; Certificate, AA or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred
Previous experience estimating in-house labor including carpentry
Ability to negotiate
Highly analytical, question asker, problem solver, and client centric at the same time
Rapid learning curve for mastering computer systems

Pay: $82,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
